Accessories Description:
We can custom make a mandrel to the exact shape of the closure that you need to test. For plastic closure with significant knurl, we can mould mandrels directly from an example of the cap or they can be 3-D printed in lightweight ABS. For closures with no significant knurl a “split mandrel” design can be used – rubber faces provide the friction to hold the closure during opening torque tests.
